Day 1-Rolling Royalty: And We’re Off!

Departing from Christian Hill Rd. Lovell, ME.

This morning, we officially hit the road! A dream that has hit reality. After weeks (okay, months) of planning, packing, repacking, and debating whether we really need that second camp chair, our adventure has begun.

First stop: Utica, NY — where we’ll be spending the night at Woodland Farm Brewery. Huge thanks to Pete & Kenzie for our Boondockers Welcome subscription for Christmas —tonight’s stay is completely free thanks to them! What better way to kick off the trip than with a good beer and a cozy spot to park?

We’ve got a lot of road ahead and no shortage of stories to share — from quirky small towns and beautiful views to navigating the mysteries of RV bathrooms and Tom scolding Jess tracking dirt inside (not quite ship-shape, in his book). It’s all part of the funny little moments that make road trips so unforgettable.

Thanks for coming along for the ride. We’re so excited to share our travels and (hopefully) inspire a few of you to pack up and chase some adventures of your own.

Next stop: Utica —and definitely a flight or two of local brews :)
