Day 3-Beaches, Bays, and Barely Any Plans

After a few days of rolling down the highway, we gave the RV a rest and treated ourselves to a proper day of downtime at Presque Isle, PA. Sandy beaches, a calm bay, and enough birds to keep us entertained. We wandered past the historic Presque Isle Lighthouse, admired the wildlife, and may have spotted a modern-day “Edmund Fitzgerald II” making a dramatic cameo on the lake. By the end of the day, toes were sandy, spirits were high, and we were reminded that the best part of the nomad life is knowing when to press pause.
